Rebel Yell 10 Year Single Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed January 26, 2020 (edited May 6, 2020)Vanilla, butterscotch, cherry and oak on the nose. Palate is in line with the nose with a good spice kick. Nice heat. Tasty wheated bourbon but not as complex as I prefer. Good daily sipper if you like wheaters. Probably won't purchase another bottle at $65.65.0 USD per Bottle -
Stagg Jr Barrel Proof Bourbon Batch 13
Bourbon — Kentucky , USA
Reviewed January 26, 2020 (edited March 18, 2020)Nose is cherry cola, vanilla, caramel, tobacco, oak. Flavor bomb! Spice and heat. The hellfire burn lingers in the back of your throat and chest. Good stuff. Will add a few drops of water to the next glass to see how it opens up.70.0 USD per Bottle -
2014 bottle. Dill, rye spice, vanilla. Some nice complexity from the 16 year old Barton's rye in this pre-2018 batch. Really well balanced. Oily on the glass. Long finish that lingers. If you can find a bottle prior to 2017 with the old formula for $65 or so, buy it. You won't be disappointed.65.0 USD per Bottle

Dalwhinnie 15 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed January 18, 2020 (edited January 31, 2020)Apple, pear, honey, vanilla. Spice and peat smoke in the finish. Tasty pour. I'm mainly a bourbon and rye drinker but trying to get into Scotch. This was a nice change of pace.51.99 USD per Bottle
