Very similar to Woodford Reserve Double Oaked, but lighter and a bit of a banana flavor added on.

Getting cherry, dark chocolate, and pepper on the palate. This reminds me a lot of No.9 Reserve, which I actually did not like, but this is a lot more refined and balanced. If you enjoy the flavors here I'd definitely recommend checking out No.9 Reserve

Not surprised Fred Noe was involved in this as it tastes similar to Jim Beam. It has a bit more body to it and I faintly taste the sherry cask finish. Overall it still has a bit too much of that Jim Beam nutty flavor for me to rate it higher.

As usual, the first couple pours were totally different until I got past the neck and threw me off a bit. Initially it was really tobacco heavy for my taste and I didn't like it that much. After it had a chance to breathe a bit this whiskey turned out to be fantastic. There's a lot going on here with nice tobacco, oak, and cherry notes. More complexity than most bourbons I've had and really well balanced.

Maybe insulting to some, but this tasted like a more sophisticated Jim Beam to me. Has the peanut flavor in there but with more umph!

I'm not much of a scotch drinker but this whiskey definitely channels some scotch energy for me. Not bad but just not my preference. Tried it neat as I usually do, but ended up trying it with some sour mix as well. Tasted best on the rocks with no mixer but the whiskey sour wasn't bad either.

I used to drink this all the time in mixers, and for that it is fantastic. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for drinking neat. Heavy banana on the nose and flavor, which I'm really not a fan of by itself.

I just cannot get on board with this whiskey. Has banana notes like Jack Daniels No. 7, but taken up a notch. Nose was magic markers for me. Smooth I suppose... but not enjoyable.

It's not as bad as many people make it out to be. Typical bourbon flavors with some peanut in there as well. It's not that interesting to drink neat but is by no means awful. Tastes like a watered down Wild Turkey 101 to me.

This is Breckenridge's premier whiskey for me. Candy corn and molasses on the nose. Some high rye bourbon flavors and rum on the palate. Very smooth and flavorful.
