Tastes

Almost burnt peanuts and brittle on nose barely smell the alcohol. Very peanut buttery but almost peanut brittle more than raw or roasted peanut butter. Heavy caramel and syrupy. Tried a salted rim and that added another dimension. Might be fun in an old fashioned with black walnut bitters with NO sweetener, burnt orange peel and bitter cherries and then smoke it if you have the gear. Already too sweet.

Really strong sake flavor coming through and not good sake. Not sure if it's the mix or what but barely drinkable for me.

Bitter and cool on initial taste then thin heat and bite on the end. Nice bottle design but not a favorite from this distillery.

Spice w cinnamon and vanilla, oak, rich, lots of flavor and changes throughout taste. Sweet orange, orange blossom and smoke really comes through neat. Better neat than w ice but fine in an old fashioned. Rocks cuts the bite but mutes some of the flavor.

Dark honey, floral, start with a spike of smoke in the middle then some oak on the finish.

Lots of fruity, almonds, slightly . Smooth, easy to enter scotch. Slightly almost plastic hints in initial palate but not in bad way.

Bit of spice and heat right away with some smoked corn. Some vanilla but nothing standing out. Not as smooth as I expected.

Hot taste with leather, smoke and vanilla along with cut wood and charcoal. Some fleeting caramel too. Bit rough on my palate but could be interesting in a smokey old fashioned.

Mint freshness and green woods jumped out. Followed by richer cedar and earthy oils. Really nice.

Light caramel and bread initially. Low burn and finishes with sawdust and straw.
