Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Straight Rye
Rye — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed November 22, 2020 (edited December 5, 2020)Nose - pepper, rye, and an almost tangy linger that I can't place. Taste- dry fruits, some sour notes, fresh dill? Weird but it's not overpowered. Hints of sweetness balances that out, oak and barrel dark spices, pepper. Finish wasn't long but oak, rye, almost leather. No age on this bottle but it tastes older than the legally required 4 yrs. I always like EHT and I like rye. It's good but I'd take the Single Barrel over this one again.99.99 USD per Bottle -
