Tastes

Nose: Rich and warm, incredibly candied nose of molasses. Taste: The rum finish comes through very strongly of sweet sugary caramel and molasses. A bit of spice starting in the middle and slowly taking over until the finish where the spice dies down and a hint of a warm and flat cola comes in with a hint of coconut.

Color: Basically Purple from the Port and added coloring. Nose: Musty and awkward smelling. Almost perfume like. The Port comes through very strongly much like the musk from your grandmothers house. Taste: Definitely still a Scotch many more dark fruits on the taste than a Glenfiddich or Glenlivet. It tastes of rich overripe figs, dates, and other dark fruits that make it seem almost more of a syrup or marmalade than a whiskey. Finish lingers for hours.
