Booker's Bourbon Batch 2018-01 Kathleen's Batch
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 9, 2021 (edited July 8, 2021)Very warm on the palate. Caramel, and vanilla, Peanut butter chocolate half way through. A bit bitter mid palate, the finish is long and very spicy. Spiciness stay with you for a few minutes after the finish.100.0 USD per BottleFayetteville -
Nose: Not all that interesting at first nosing leather for sure and a hint of the barrel proof with spice as you pull the glass away you can smell a hint of tobacco, cinnamon, and cloves as well. Taste: Spice is overwhelming and seems to continuously unfold and the slowly dissipate into a slight barrel woody spicy vanilla finish.22.0 USD per BottleFort Carson Gate 3 Shoppette

Redbreast 12 Year Cask Strength
Single Pot Still — Ireland
Reviewed August 28, 2020 (edited September 6, 2020)Nose: It may take a while to open up in your glass but once it has you can quickly pull out the 12 year barrel it’s almost as if you stuck your head right into the cask. Deep red and blue berries with cream comes after the oak. Strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries form a medley like they they were sugared and put onto pancakes with the buttery Irish note that comes through. Taste: A bit of oak and berry come through at first touch then overwhelming spice to push all the way into the finish and the finish never leaves even minutes later the spice still lingers.90.0 USD per BottleColorado Springs -
Nose: Delicate and Nuanced with a hint of that aged oak. Sherry most certainly comes through and hints of melon like a rich honeydew in the afternoon of a new summer day. Taste: Almost ripe red fruits come through at the first touch of the dram to your tongue but as soon as it shows it speeds away leaving you in a trail of oak spice to overwhelm and settle just before it seems too hot and leave you in a sadness and longing for another sip. Finish: The finish lingers with oak spice for a few seconds after but you can still feel it in the chest for quite a few minutes after the sip.46.0 USD per BottleColorado Springs

Knob Creek 15 Year Bourbon (2020 Release)
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed August 6, 2020 (edited September 10, 2020)Nose: Regular bourbon, nothing out of the ordinary besides a bit more fruit than normally expected with a Beam product. Taste: Hits a bit above its proof tastes more like a finished bourbon with how fruity it is. Giving notes of citrus and some red fruits. You can definitely get notes of it’s age, but not in full or richness but instead with spice and oak, though I would expect more out of a 15 year bourbon. Not receiving the vegetal/earth and peanut note I normally get from a Knob creek. Finish: Stays with you in spice and a bit of oak you can feel it travel down into your chest almost a spearmint even a few minutes after a sip.100.0 USD per BottleColorado Springs
