Arran Machrie Moor Fingal's Cut Sherry Cask Finish
Peated Single Malt — Islands, Scotland
Reviewed April 14, 2023Dod they take the sherry out before they filled these casks? Wow! Its dark - a deep sherry-red brown - and powerfully sweet. At cask strength it packs a punch too. -
Ardbeg Blaaack (2020 Committee Release)
Peated Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed December 26, 2022Gentle meat and barbecued meats on the nose. Warming gingerbread and tangy dark orange marmalade on the palate. There’s some chilli pepper too on the finish.99.0 GBP per Bottle -
Almond and nutty flavours to the fore with some cherry and dried fruit on the palate - raisins, cranberries and a hint of cocoa. M&S claim this is “reminiscent of Christmas cake, which makes it a perfect winter drink”. I’m not sure it’s perfect, but is palatable at £16 for a 50cl (pretty) bottle.16.0 GBP per BottleM&S Simply Food
