Tastes

A little smoke on the nose. Grasses and heather to the fore. Some fruit at the back of the tongue with a pleasant sweetness lingering. Altogether a rich, honeyed and flavourful dram.

Definitely beer-y. A very drinkable and pleasant dram, with lots of malty notes and woodiness.

Batch 4. Bottled at 55% ABV cask strength from three first fill bourbon barrels. Freshness of pear drops and apples on the nose. Vanilla ice cream sweetness, lemon rind on the long finish. Water opens the buttery citrus on the nose, softening the sweetness to reveal more fruits on the palate. An interesting, characterful whisky that is surprisingly drinkable at cask strength.

Straw coloured with nice peaty nose. Bourbon grass and citrus makes this very drinkable!

Fruity and sweet.

Dark golden pour. Lovely toffee nose with a smoky bonfire toffee taste on the palate and a sweet butterscotch finish.

Sherry dominates. Sweet with hints of salty seaweed. Sticky toffee pudding. Delicious.

Strongly magnolia on the nose. Cereal on the palate, then pain au chocolate or buttery chocolate chip brioche, with cocoa and honey on the finish. Very pleasant.

Nutty and buttery. A drinkable young dram with pleasant soft smoke on the nose and finish.
