Rich honey and grass notes on the nose. Vanilla ice cream on the palate with honey then butterscotch Angel Delight on the sweetest finish. A beautiful summery dram.

Beach fire and roasted chestnuts on the nose. Peaty ash and pine on the palate with a finish that improves on that piney resin with citrus and fish.

Very pleasant and drinkable. Pear drops and soft mint on the palate and a long, sweet toffee caramel finish with an undercurrent of coastal salt.

Good amount of complexity. Sweetness on the nose - honeycomb and cinder toffee - which builds on the palate from fresh grass to heat and smoke with hints of orange and apple. What’s left is a wispy peat-smoke finish and lingering toffee apple.

Fairly easygoing Speyside at an excellent price from Lidl. An own brand malt, akin to a younger Aberlour if I had to guess its provenance. Raisin and fruitcake on the nose with some oak on the palate and a long, Sherry-sweet finish.
