The nose is pretty usual here, some vanilla, banana, spices, pretty light on the wcents though, pretty bright. It doesnt seem to hit with much up front, a bit dull on the wood leathery flavors, but then the punch comes. Almost a sting of bright high tiny notes come in thats almost leathery-esque. Finishes with really bright fruits and lingers with a metallicy taste. Not sure if its the batch, but im not too impressed given the hype. The nose is pretty pleasant but it doesnt seem to follow suit

The nose is up front with bright wheat and baking spices followed by some citrius. First hit on the tounge is that bright citruis but is followed up with loads of oak and vanilla. Finished with like a dusted chocolate almond chocolate and dark fruit. Its drinks a little warm and has a medium heft, but is overall a very solid sip

The noise leads with signature baking spices and dark fruits but is mainly loads of rich toasted sweetness. The pallete is similar, im getting hit up front with a sweet peppercorn followed by all the toasted heavy dark fruits. I cant definitely see the dr pepper spilled on a leather saddle picture in the expert notes. Compared to the stagg jr batch22b you can tell its had more time to blend similar flavors together. If the jr is bright citrus with brown sugar this is a carmelized fruit with toasted brown sugar and molases thats blended o so well. Its full body adds a lovely heft that just makes it all come together. Diabolical this bottle is unobtanium for most

The nose isnt too strong outside the front loaded caramel and toasty suger notes, very slight heavy fruit scent. The taste is hoot indeed but i get bright citruis immediately followed by all the wonderful toasted sweetness you could want. Little baking spices, finished by a haaaaiiiir or really dark fruit thats really rich. Lovely pour

Nose is fuuuuull of bright sweet heavy fruit compared to others in the lineup. Sweet and creamy on the nose and taste. Mid heft on the pallette with tons of the that signature corn mash bill hit. I really enjoy the nose, but get a little lost in the finish. Its sweet but in a more vegatative way

The noise is full of wonderful sweet caramel and vanilla, a little subtle fruit. Front of the pallette is thin then immediately thickens up. Charred goodness with sweet dark fruit finished by an easy chocolate sweetness. If anything a bit heavy on the oak

Nose is light on brown sugar and banana with some corn notes. Has a heavier mouth feel than the 1897 but not as oily. Follows the sugary toast notes with tons of oak and charr. Nothing out of the ordinary, solid pour but im not too big on the nanas/corn

A soft nose woth red apple and some sweetness. Very first hit is a soft vanilla followed immediatly with spice! Its a thin and hot mouth feel followed with musty oak. Thin finish but brings the heat. Solid pour but thin and spicey for me

Pretty bright fruit followed by hints of sweet oak and spice. Finish is short and spicey but leaves a little corn spice

Nose - pretty similar to most bourbons with some toasty sweetness, but has some grassy tones too Pallette - it hits hard up front with tins of spicey earthy herb, has a hair of subtle sweet grass, then stays in your tounge for such a long time. Almost feels like theres an artificial flavor on the end but i cant pin it down Had some high hopes for this one, and im not too sure how it stacked up
