Subtle Spirits Straight Rye Whiskey Vol 2
Bourbon — Indiana, USA
Reviewed November 5, 2024 (edited November 6, 2024)This is a great bottle. Deer Park Liquors Store pick Barrel #68 bottle 82/144. 12yrs old at 62.7% abv. I was fortunate enough to taste this side by side with the current 2024 release of the High West MWND and the subtoe spirits has it beat. Its so viscous, and rich. Of course it has the Rye spices that youd expect, but it has the dark richness that comes with that 12 year age statement. The finish is long, warm, and delicious. I cannot wait to enjoy this bottle with friends and family this winter. Thanks Cheyne!160.0 USD per Bottle -
George T. Stagg Bourbon (Fall 2019)
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed June 21, 2022 (edited August 16, 2022)This is the best bourbon I’ve ever tasted. It’s going to be a sad day when my bottle is empty. -
Bardstown Bourbon Co. Discovery Series #2
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed January 21, 2021 (edited July 11, 2021)This is great bourbon. Rich, thick, dark cherries, oak, vanilla, caramel, dark chocolate. Finish goes on and on. Reminds me a lot of a very rare barrel proof whiskey that is very tough to find but I’m not going to name drop it, because then I won’t be able to find any Bardstown. This is great juice.116.99 USD per Bottle -
High West Double Rye
Rye — (bottled in) Utah, USA
Reviewed January 2, 2021 (edited January 11, 2021)So good. Just tasted side by side with MWND. Obviously doesn’t have the depth as MWND, but man it does not disappoint! Especially with the price difference! This is my favorite rye that is on just about every shelf! -
Bulleit Bourbon Blenders' Select No. 001
Bourbon — Kentucky , USA
Reviewed December 13, 2020 (edited January 24, 2021)This is a good bourbon. Up against a lot of highly sought after bourbons it holds its own. Caramel and burnt sugars on the nose, vanilla, caramel, little char on the palate with a smooth burn and medium to long finish. Tasted it blind tonight and it stood up!56.0 USD per Bottle
