Tastes

I get orchard fruit and spice on the nose. Like the most delicious apple cider ever with some caramel and vanilla floating behind it. The palate carries all of that forward with a rich creaminess. The finish is long and sweet and delicious.

I love this whisky. I get citrus (particularly Meyer lemons) and peat on the nose with some vanilla. The palate is sweet with mellow lemon and vanilla almost like a lemon chess pie with some peat going on in the background. The finish is moderate and sweet with more subtle peat tying everything together.

This one is all dried fruits and sherried notes on the nose. It makes you think it's going to be a Sherry bomb on the palate like an Aberlour A'bunadh or Glenfarclas but then the palate is really chill. It carries the dried fruits from sherry casks along with some fig preserves and fruit cake. Finish is moderate length with tart dried fruits like dried cherries or currants.

I get sweet cream and light citrus on the nose. A sweet medium palate with creamy vanilla and and grain something like a parfait. The finish is short but finds the time to go from sweet to dry with a light wisp of smoke.
