Tastes

Smells and tastes really young because it is really young. This disapoints me as i have now officially tasted almost every bourbon / whiskey distilled in PA. None so far are worth buying again. This may be the least offensive of any of them at 6 months old. If you must buy something produced in Pa buy Resurgent as it 8s MGP juice.

Bitter and floral. Not my taste profile.

Not for me. Im more of a double oak guy but i had never tried a bourbon finished in Rose wine barrels. I don't find that the finishing adds anything.

My first glass was overly hot and frankly disappointing. Happily i went back a week later and it was like a different bourbon. Ginen time to open up and breath a bit it came back as sweet carmel oak with molasses and long legs. Excellent and meets its reputation.

Cool bottle, but sadly, a drain poor. Top 3 worst whiskeys I've ever had.

Young MGP juice distilled at Midwest Grain Products in Indiana bottled in PA. There is a reason mthis is the only bourbon bottled in PA worth drinking.
