A truly unique pour. Rich and thick and sugary sweet yet something hangs on the edges to give it more complexity than your standard corn whiskey. Catch some cinnamon/nutmeg notes on the palate beside the sweetness. Swath of tropical fruit hangs around. Love this dram...great way to end 2020/start 2021 depending in the time zone.

Great looking pour. Nose is nice blend of sweet and spicy...rye evident but blended with vanilla and brown sugar. Citrus in the background. Bold flavor. Drinks perfectly for abv. Smooth yet complex...proper level of ethanol burn. Steal at costco prices and a nice overall dram

Fruity, floral nose is inviting...bit of peat on the edges. Flavor is medium bodied...light fruit, wisp of smoke, hint of sea salt...this is one tasty dram. Sticker of $29.99 makes this one of the best purchases I've made in the past couple years

Batch 19-27. One of the most beautiful noses...a bouquet of flowers on top of rye spice. Glorious. Flavor is warm...caramel and lots of rye spice. Oak mellows the ethanol burn.

The nose let's you know this one is packing heat. An earthiness and some vanilla are apparent and it opens up nicely with a few drops. Plenty of oak. Flavor drinks every ounce of the 13and really benefits from water as the ethanol otherwise overpowers quickly. A softer finish with water, there's actually a good amount of fruit and vanilla in-between the oak. Good, but far from my favorite ECBP to date.

Great pour. Moderate complexity on the nose opens into vanilla and baking spices. Flavor is a nice ride with a sweet, rich palate warming but not ethanol heavy. Better than expected

Rich, sweet, honey-laden, viscous pour. Nose and flavor both very honey forward and it makes for an easy, smooth, pleasant dram

A nice scotch...I pick up a decent level of smoke on the palate about mid sip. Otherwise an easy drinking, not overly sweet, pour

Pour subsequent to the non-cask version, and it was truly amazing to see the difference. Absurdly complex from nosing to finish...and a few drops take it to another level. Next tasting I'll focus more on the specifics

My favorite irish (to date). Mildly fruity, sweet nose brings you to one of the smoothest flavors. Sweet and fruity, orange/tropical fruit with the slightest back end spice.
