Rich and sweet with vanilla and coconut notes

Peaty and rich as they have always been with a tinge of fruitiness to it. Keeps the octomore name going

Sweet spicy butterscotch and butterscotch I like. It’s also smooth and a worth replacement to the taketsuru 12 if not better. Love the bottle and had this tasted at the Miyagikyo distillery 25/8

Rich and on the stronger side and comes out with a sweet punch. The sherry is strong in this one

Feel like they could be variations from the ones I tried in Australia vs the ones in Japan and must say they’re nonetheless still good with the ones in Japan tasting with honey cream and supple - very good 4* while the aussie ones felt like a 3 when compared to the taketsuru 12

Very Decent with breakfast cereals and some mild peat . Highly sippalble

Wish I could give another 1/2 star on this. For some reason Hakushu’s distillers seem to be getting better with new batches or maybe it’s just my mind thinking that they’ve included some hakushu 12 magic into the newer batches

Felt that the smokiness was not very present but certainly the peat. Its decent
