Lovely work for a double cask. Very oily. Fruity nose with brown sugar and caramel, Campbeltown salt. This Campbeltown salt is all through the palate, pleasently mixed with spices, oaky notes, caramel and Sherry. Brilliant for a double cask, especially for its price.

Would recommend adding a drop of water to it. Then it stops being so shy and shows truly good character.

Too powerless in any aspect. On the nose, Sherry could be felt for a second, then dissappears. On the palate, the same - unable to deliver strong tastes, any explosiveness. Bitter all the way.

Probably the best everyday Kavalan I have tasted to this date. Well, that is what I expected from Triple Sherry. Sherry dominance and variety on the nose - red apples, ripe pears, oranges, pleasant oats. Very rich on the palate - dominated by berries and red apples. While finishing, oranges become tangerines.

Apples and unripe pears on the nose. The palate is dominated by dried fruits, citrus peels, oak and spices at the end. Would not buy it for its price.

Smooth, elegant peaty cask strenght. Very good for a peaty cask, although I am not the biggest fan of the brand.

The nose is dominated by dark chocolate and vanilla. The universal decision on taste - red fruits, caramel, a little of the vanilla and oak spices. Amazing!

Couldn't find anything amazing in this dram. Everything is balanced - salt, earth, smoke, peat. Vanilla and sweetness tried to show in a moment, but then disappeared again.

Tropical fruits, pears on the nose. Then the best part - oil, peat, a touch of pepper and the best of Cambeltown - the salty tang, which is dominant especially at the end with the fruits. Special dram!

Apples and pears on the nose, wet grass and green tea. On the palate it is something like a green apple, finishing with a touch of salty smoke and then peat smoke again.
