Bushmills Causeway collection 2002 Vermouth Cask
Single Malt — Ireland , Ireland
Reviewed January 12, 2023Exquisite dram aged in Vermouth casks. Aromatic nose of peaches in syrup and coconut with oaky, leathery, spicy and seasoning herbs complementary notes. The palate is very smooth, with spicy, peppery, sweet fruit syrup, white grapes flavors with a herbaceous medicinal finish. -
Smoky rich nose. Complementary leathery, oily and olives notes. Savory aromas. A hint of oregano freshness. The smoky character comes on even stronger on the palate. Oily chewy texture. The fruitiness and sweetness coming off the sherry cask envelopes the tongue offering contrast with the smokiness. Quite a wallop to the senses.
