This is a gift from above. Nose is oaky, with wood varnish, earthy, corn syrup, spicy, seasoning herbs, sweaty horse blanket, olives. Complex and keeps changing in the glass when you give it time. Perfectly smooth and velvety on the palate. Caramel, peaches in syrup, apricots, grape skins and a touch of mint. Layers upon layers of beauty.

Glenmorangie The Tribute 16 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed September 1, 2023 (edited March 8, 2024)I really dig this. Amazing complexity. Smoky, peaty, leather, tobacco, olives, oil, seasoning herbs, oregano and thyme aromas. Viscous and silky texture. So smooth. The savory-oriented aromas brilliantly clash with the sweet flavors. Grapes, peaches, oranges, biscuit, honey and spicy notes on the palate. -
Nice and summery Macallan. Nose floral, citrus fruit, pineapple, quince in syrup, wood spice, cigar box, tobacco leaves notes and a leathery touch. Nice and freshly pastoral. Smooth and velvety texture. No upfront heat. Delicate and elegant. Palate opens up with oaky, vanilla, agave, light yellow fruit notes with an oily butter brioche aftertaste.

Royal Salute 21 Year The Signature Blend
Blended — Scotland
Reviewed June 4, 2023 (edited December 16, 2023)This is beautifully smooth and aromatic. Elegant leathery, smoky, chocolate and nutmeg aromas. Creamy and velvety texture with citrus notes and baking spices. Take your time with it. This is criminally good.
