Peat and smoke on the nose. The same on the taste, but as for me a little bit hard to swallow 50 abv. Good example of a real islay scotch.

My expectations were high, but this is shit. A lot of alcohol in a nose, a little bit of average bourbon in a taste and a lot of alcohol again (real 45% all the way).

Excellent scotch from Islay. Very peated, but it is very mild on the tongue (hard to believe that it is 43%). Some fruits notes in taste.

The good thing is that there is no alcohol in the nose, but the bad thing that there is nothing common with classic version of jack Daniels (not such caramel and vanilla as number 7). We have got average bourbon.

As for me a good example of quality and price. Vanilla, caramel and a little bit of alcohol in the nose. In the taste caramel, some wood. Everyday bourbon. Good choice in this price segment.
