Fair amount of cherry on the nose and throughout. A drop or two of water keeps it interesting and enjoyable. Neat works as well. Has a quick kick. Dynamic finish. Not tasting any chocolate. 4 ⭐️ / $50 / Wally’s Liquor / LA

Tastes like an orange liquor to me. Anchor Steam is my favorite brewery so I feel a little let down. It hardly tastes like a whiskey. Unique and odd for sure. Overly herbal and just not my thing. Will not restock this bottle. 2.0 ⭐️ / $75 / Beverage Warehouse / LA

Rich, subtle cherry, cola like taste with a subtle tobacco leaf finish. Just the right amount of spice. Lots of character that I can’t put into words just yet. Well worth $50 at today’s prices. I keep it in stock, drink it neat and drink it often. 4.75 ⭐️ / $50 / Beverage Warehouse / LA

Vanilla, cherry, and spice on the nose. First kick of spice with a flash of burn then on to buttery cherry, vanilla, and spice. Nice long finish. Drink it neat. Got first bottle for $65 at BevMo and thought it was worth it. Found for $35 at Ralph’s and almost lost my shit. Quickly grabbed three. 4.5 ⭐️ / $35 / Ralph’s / LA

Bottled 2009. Lacks character. Kind of light, supper mellow. Drank it neat. Would love to see what more age would do. Slight smell of alcohol but no taste or burn. Super smooth. Not bad for the price. *After oxidizing this got a little nicer but still kind of thin. For the price though, pretty solid and totally worth it. 3.25 ⭐️ / $30 / Ralph’s / LA
