When its done let the glass sit a few minutes then smell it. Smells almost like a cedar chest.

Like watered down Elmer T Lee. Its super sweet watery and not spicy. Sounds terrible from how I describe it but its not thst bad just lacks a lot of what its bourbon cousins bring to the table

Not as good as Cowboy in my opinion but head and shoulders above small batch GB. Its a bit pricy in my opinion but I enjoy it nonetheless. So far Cowboy is best this is close second and Guadalupe is like a desert version of this.

Nice flavor bomb and quite smooth for the proof. Im not a garrison small batch fan but this one is far better than small batch and impressive as a craft bourbon. I don’t know if I’d pay to have a bottle on hand but it is damn good and changed my mind about GB as a whole. As others have noted it’s a whole different thing and hard to compare to other Kentucky bourbons.

Taste like little book chapter 6 cousin. Similar to midwest spirits ported pumpernickel rye. Not the same but similar with a better finish. Smells little bit like a camp fire. It starts off boring so let it sit or add a cube and let it sit. It is sweet and it taste nothing like the entry level small batch which tasted like corn to me. Im not typically a garrison fan but this one I like. As for price? What is considered a good value these days anyway? Not much. Buy if you like to try new things otherwise stick to woodford for consistency.
