Kirkland 20 Year Speyside Single Malt Sherry Cask Finish
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed September 4, 2022Nose was acetone at first, resolving into rum raisin tarts and perfumy wood lacquer. Maybe cherry cola (allspice notes specifically)? Palate opens with a burst of wood spice, followed by honey sweetness with a touch of dark chocolate-like bitterness on the finish. The wood impact lingers, though the mouthfeel on drinking doesn’t strike as super enveloping.99.99 CAD per BottleCostco Wholesale -

Reviewed March 14, 2022 (edited December 16, 2022)Acetone, darrrk maple syrup, and molasses dominate the potent ethanol-heavy nose. Maple and spice carry through on the palate.
