This was really damn good. Exceptionally smooth with a great balance of rye spice with burnt caramel and vanilla. The ethanol sticks with you, but there’s an alarming sippability to this.

Love this bourbon. Balance of burnt caramel, smoke, caramel, and vanilla. Not always readily accessible, but always worth it at its price point IMO.

Haven’t had this since 04/2015, but early notes indicated that while distinctly more complex and potent than reg Jameson, I wouldn’t really say it’s worth the price of admission. Pictured is a Captain Levi cocktail; if you like absinthe you’d love this.

Honestly a lot of Rye similarities for me; distinctly spicy, with nutty undertones and caramel throughout. Mellows with time in the glass. Last tasted 04/01/2022.

Hell of a boozy punch for <120 proof. That said, finishes smooth. Great vanilla nose. Burnt caramel. Cinnamon. Tobacco leaf.
