    Pour 4/14 of 1/4 oz pours I tried at a casual gathering of a whisky club I’m in. Very interesting rum with notes of banana, tropical fruit, herbs, chocolate, pepper, and lots of funkiness.

    After a flight of 1 oz pours of my 3 most recent reviews, the bartender gave me a sample of this. Delicious with notes of vanilla, citrus, caramel, chocolate, and light delicate smoke.

    First of last night. I’ve heard nom 1079 is very popular as a distillery now nom 1580 and 1079 pops all over instagram. When I saw the bottle I said I would like a try. This is great stuff with notes of cooked agave, caramel, chocolate, mango, papaya, and a unique earthy smoky vegetal peppery raw agave note with a buttery mouthfeel.

    Great stuff with notes of cooked agave, chocolate, caramel, vanilla, a little earthy vegetal peppery raw agave, and chocolate brings out pears and tropical fruit.
