Great job of showing how not all islays and perhaps not all scotch are super smoky. This tastes very smooth with notes of sherried fruits, toffee, and the typical Islay smoke on the trailer.

Not on Pikesville, Thomas Handy, High West Midnight Winter Dram, or Lock Stock and Barrel 16 level as Jim Murray thinks but is still exquisite. Not your typical Crown Royal. Combines smoothness with sweet and spicy flavors from pepper, vanilla, cinnamon, pepper, barrel spices, fruit, chocolate, and caramel.

Tastes a lot like Hibiki at a fraction of the cost.
