GlenDronach Allardice 18 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed September 13, 2018 (edited October 26, 2018)Tried this at the whisky extravaganza. Amazing. Among my favorites of the night. Has notes of sherried fruits, nuts, spices, and chocolate. The 84 rating is bogus, considering the 12 was a 91 and this is even better than the already great 12 year. It doesn't help that Stephanie Moreno is the chief editor and she can do whatever she wants. Must try the 21 and single cask offerings whenever I have the chance. -

Virginia Distillery Co. Chardonnay Cask Finished Virginia-Highland Whisky
Blended Malt — Multiple Countries
Reviewed September 13, 2018 (edited June 29, 2019)Tried this at the whisky extravaganza. This tastes a lot like spicy green fruits. The chardonnay and cider casks are nice barbecue outside drams but the port cask is the best of the bunch and signature of Virginia for a reason. -
