Weird aroma, flavor is a full burnt caramel... "burnt" aspect is a little overdone. Not bad, interesting at least.

Nice value for range of flavor: smoke on nose; buttery cookies, spices (ginger?), with smoke & light peat finish.

Points for uniqueness though may not be what I am seeking in a whiskey. Huge fruit, i get pear and apple but apricot might be lurking as well. Not a ton of depth for a single malt though the flavors as presented offer something fun.

Lots of vanilla, plus oak & smoke. Some unique spices to balance out the burn this bottle has... abv low vs expectations.

Not getting the variety of flavors from pros... Hints of fig, maybe some prune. Apricot is most dominant fruit component in seas of custard & caramel. Intriguing though less depth than what i consider a top flight whiskey. Small pour.

Fantastic surprise, was not expecting something as fully flavored w 100 proof. Smokey toffee/caramel... Lots of spice, clove included.
