Worthy of a bump in rating, given the maintaining of classic No 7 flavor but with fuller, richer profile. Char is still there, but sweetness with banana and honey notes is more prevalent.

Enjoyed the vanilla, butterscotch components in this dram. However I feel the price may be a touch high for what it is.

On the nose, there is plenty of fruit, including apple and banana. Vanilla and oak are at the front of the first sip, with the latter lingering for a bit. Rich, full and probably worth trying, though I think the alcohol keeps it from being cohesive.

Getting some black pepper, along with hints of oak, vanilla, and maybe even honey. Still, the overall lack of definitive nuance keeps this from reaching the next level.

No Age Statement (3+ Years?): Beautiful caramel and burnt sugar throughout, with constant salty brine underneath. Fruit, apple, pear. The depth and array of flavor are both on point, would search this out for sure.

This may deserve a bump in rating as I adore the honey-drenched components at play. Still, there is a slight shortness of subtlety here... overall, still pleasantly enjoyable though I worry I may not remember much about this in a few months.

Based on value for money, this is an enjoyable whiskey. On the nose, has some standard Irish characteristics. The highlight is the first rush of fruit, marmalade and orange zest w mild spice. Finishes a tad drier though that balance makes for something just complex enough to hold your attention.

Traditional buttery oak on nose. Not highly complex though enough going on, including slight fruit and a balanced dose of spice to hold attention. Great whiskey for cocktails, even if on expensive side, due to mellow aspect.

sample / Just on edge of being overheated with spice, this is a pretty fantastic value.
