Cracked this open in honor of National Bourbon Day. Classic nose, medium mouthfeel. Surprisingly well-mannered for a high rye. Goes down easy, with just a touch of a warmiong hug. Fantastic!! Purchased 5/27/23 during our Louisville KBT trip

Batch No. 75. Purchased 5/25/2023 for the Charlestown SP campout bourbon share. Pretty good stuff, would probably re-purchase this one. Will look into some of their other expressions based on this release.

Another Bourbon Share bottle. Honestly, just a bit disappointing. Had enjoyed their 1884 Small Batch, so anticipated this to be an upgrade. Nothing remarkable to mention. It's not bad, just not all that special either. Seems there are better choices out there at this price point.

5/6/2023 - Bottle share event at Lieber / Cataract Falls SRA. Actually, a very solid bourbon. Classic nose, flavorful palate and a decent finish.

Another bottle shared on a camping trip. This is the third expression I’ve tried from Town Branch, and with the exception of the Single Barrel, none of them have been anything all that special. The True Cask isn’t bad, it has a classic bourbon nose, flavors and a medium short finish. But there’s nothing to make it stand out either. May improve with some more time, but for now it’s just okay.

Got to try this on a family camping trip. Great to see their own juice playing such a large roll in this release. Have to say, it’s my favorite in the Fusion Series.

This bottle was part of a Bourbon Share even on a family campout. It was purchased from a backwoods liquor store in South Carolina and came with a great story! Unfortunately, the first sip was a stinging ethanol blast followed by a very char flavored finish. Subsequent sips seemed to be a little less astringent, or maybe my entire mouth had gone numb from the assault. I’ll report back if I have a chance to try this one again.

Took this along for a Bourbon Share event on a recent camping trip. These events have become a staple of our family campouts!! This bottle did not disappoint. Great nose, mouthfeel, flavors and a mild finish. Not very complex, but a very enjoyable pour. Batch 0227.

Popped the cork on this to celebrate my son’s first Father’s Day. Amazing stuff. Beautiful amber color, fantastic nose, viscous mouthfeel and wonderfully flavorful. Nice warming finish closes things out. Absolutely one of the best whiskeys I’ve tried. I’ll be picking this one up every chance I get! Purchased 3/29/23

Barrel No. 21-09928 Barrel House 2-37 Bottled 12/1/21 Deep, sugary sweet nose. Flavorful, medium mouthfeel. Cinnamon redhot finish builds slowly into a nice hug. Never becomes too hot, but the proof is evident. Very enjoyable sip.
