Wildly better than Centennaire or Rouge because it's much less sweet. This falls into the same family as the Louis Alexandre, flavour-forward over sweetness, except this is obviously better cognac. Louis Alexandre is the better choice though, unless you have money to burn. This is terrific cognac not really made better.

Reviewed January 1, 2022 (edited July 18, 2022)Y'all crazy. This is hyper floral. And just as sweet as the entry level red. Any nuance is disintegrated. Louis Alexandre is a much better dram. 1880 has much better cognac. This is a middle step child. -
