Sipsmith Lemon Drizzle Gin
Distiller Score 93
The aroma is filled with the lemon peels and lemon verbena which thankfully both are present and accounted for throughout. However, the juniper comes through solidly upon tasting with the taste finishing on a coriander and lemon verbena note. Although there is a touch of sweetness, Lemon Drizzle is not a liqueur (although Sipsmith does experiment from time to time, so fingers crossed they release one someday). Such a lovely experience--a natural fit in any Gin Sour, but would also try in a French 75 or even just a simple G & T.

Malfy Gin Rosa
Distiller Score 89
Malfy Gin Rosa has a pleasing pale pink hue and comes in strong with bright grapefruit aroma. The citrus flavor on the palate, however, is significantly lighter. The slightly bitter grapefruit notes blend well with juniper, lemon and coriander. It's just as light and crisp as the Originale, and lacks the sugary mouthfeel and taste you might expect from a flavored spirit. Use it in a Collins, Fizz, or with tonic to showcase the citrus flavor.

Tanqueray Sevilla Orange Gin
Distiller Score 85
A summer gin at its best! Aromas of fresh orange blossoms and fruity marmalade. The palate is vibrant, sweet and oily with a just a glimpse of juniper berries. Finish is long, sweet and robust. Well balanced. Makes the best Negroni, or recommend trying it with a Mediterranean tonic and a few red peppercorns for garnish.

Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin California Orange Citrus
Distiller Score 92
While the gin does deliver the promised orange citrus aromas, it doesn't overdeliver. Other botanicals still shine though, particularly the cardamom, juniper, and coriander. The tea notes come through on the finish, but throughout the gin is pretty dynamic with spices, herbs, citrus and just a hint of floral flavors. Will work in just about any gin cocktail, but try it out in a simple G&T with a slice of citrus to see how it shines.

Bayab Palm & Pineapple Gin
Distiller Score 90
The pineapple flavor is the dominant aroma and it also carries through to the taste. Juniper and other spices show up on the palate with an assertive presence, balancing the fruit flavors. Keep in mind that the pineapple fruit brings fruity notes, but the sweet factor is mild. Feel free to serve in any way you would dry gins as this is not a typical sweet flavored gin.

Warner's Raspberry Gin
Distiller Score 85
The berry notes are quite dominant on the nose with a bright and jammy aroma. It's body is average with a fruity and tart flavor. Also making an appearance is black pepper and some earthy root notes and a medium-light amount of juniper. It's a tangy and lively expression. Try in a Gin Spritz!

Malfy Gin Con Arancia
Distiller Score 85
Right off the bat, this gin is exactly what you'd expect from a blood orange-infused spirit. It's an interesting orange-rose hue and has the juicy, bittersweet aroma of blood oranges. The flavor leans more toward candied grapefruit peel and a touch of cardamom comes through as well, with a prickle of juniper throughout.

Empress 1908 Cucumber Lemon Gin
Distiller Score 87
The lemon note is bright on the nose along with a gentle floral note. Juniper is present and accounted for, but is not front and center. The vegetal notes of the cucumber come through on the mid-palate and towards the finish. The 85 proof allows this gin to give a punchy finish. Would say the lemon and cucumber notes could punch a bit higher on the palate, but it's certainly a warm weather go-to.

Whitley Neill Rhubarb & Ginger Gin
Distiller Score 85
This gin has a very slight color to it. On the nose, hints of juniper are prominent, followed by a noticeably sweet, fruity aroma. On the palate, it starts off with a bit of juniper and ginger spice, but after the initial heat fades away, the rhubarb flavor is unmistakable. There are also prominent notes of sweet orange and a hint of herbaceousness. This gin would pair well with ginger beer or tonic that’s not too sweet and a hearty squeeze of lime.

Empress 1908 Elderflower Rose Gin
Distiller Score 87
While the floral notes are there, those aromas and flavors are more of a background player to the spicy/peppery profile of the cinnamon and juniper especially when compared to the brand's Indigo expression. So if you're expecting a powerful floral component, you'll be disappointed. Still, it's enjoyable enough and certainly presents with a lovely color. Since no one note is taking front stage, feel free to enjoy in your favorite gin cocktail of choice. Try a Collins!

Pinkster Gin
Distiller Score 88
Clearly you've noticed the pale pink color by now. Gentle raspberry aromas greet you, but soon grapefruit grabs your attention. Juniper is present, but it and the other spices play nice. This is a soft gin. A breakfast gin, perhaps. The raspberries add a gentle sweetness to the gin, but you are still drinking gin (thankfully). It finishes with a bittersweet grapefruit flavor. And one that is utterly drinkable as is. Maybe serve on the rocks (and add some raspberries to the cubes for additional flair).

Eden Mill Sea Buckthorn Original Gin
Distiller Score 95
The Original Gin’s bouquet shows a beautiful combination of bright citrus, earthy coriander, and a healthy dose of refreshing juniper matched with the spirit’s calling card: the sea buckthorn berry. These tart little fruits give an invigorating character to the gin, but compliment the traditional botanicals rather than hijacking the flavor profile making this a great tool in all sorts of traditional applications — particularly well-suited for a gin and tonic. The distillate has a rich mouthfeel and no real impression of alcoholic burn or spice.
