1792 Single Barrel Bourbon

Floral and perfumey, pear, banana, caramel, vanilla and cinnamon notes combine to make this a delicious whiskey. Light and sipable, pleasant medium length finish, minimal spice. Empty glass smells of bananas foster.

A pleasant surprise, I'd heard the 1792s were overrated. But this was nice and complex. The front is just as the professionals describe, a burst of tropical flavors, which give way to the more classic bourbon flavors of vanilla. The finish is long and spicy, and very pleasant. I'll be buying another bottle for sure.
