1792 Small Batch Bourbon

Sweet and smooth, no burn. Great neat or as a cocktail or soda.

A bit spicy and hot on the palate, which mellows out to a corny sweetness on the finish. Classic high rye bourbon.

Nose: Ethanol on the nose. Warm rye spice, vanilla, and caramel. Palate: Sweet forward with vanilla and caramel. The high rye quickly works it was forward. Finish: Rye spice leads the way, creating a warm and spicy finish. Thoughts: Not bad. Not a huge fan of the rye spice in this bourbon. Probably would not own.

Fruit cocktail, mint, anise, leather, red fruits, a fine Bourbon, that I preferred drinking in an old fashioned.
