Angel's Envy Rye Finished in Ice Cider Casks (2022 Cellar Collection)

Chocolate, maple syrup, coffee, cognac. Delicious!

I like the other angels envy better. A bit bitter, cider notes

Lovely rye with spice and ice cider sweetness like that of ice wine. Has notes of Granny Smith apples, vanilla ice cream, white chocolate, maple syrup, lychees, cloves, root beer, tangerines, pineapple syrup, cinnamon, cloves, brown sugar, pecans, and spearmint.

Immediate white pepper but ultimately reminds me of a fall day. Apple pie a la mode with crystallized sugar and an ever so slight dusting of cinnamon on top. Apples are sweet yet savory as if buttered and pan fried. Nice coating of oil midway through. Tail end turns dry with more white pepper and oak tingling the palate whilst the apples never completely fade. Very good and will be enjoyed, but for the price I’ll stick to their Caribbean Cask version for 1/4 the cost.

Wow first Angel’s Envy I have tried and this one is special. Noise is like an apple orchard in the fall, taste is so unique unlike anything I have had. Very glad my friend Steve shared this one.
