Angel's Envy Rye Finished in Caribbean Rum Casks

Pairs perfectly with pancakes, eggs, and bacon. The official whiskey of breakfast! ....No, please don’t drink whiskey with breakfast. In all seriousness, this is spicy, very sweet, complex, and wonderful. Unique and highly recommended (but please, not for breakfast).

Distiller needs to update some of their tastings of more common or sought after whiskeys. Their review is from 2014 and like many other whiskey reviews of similar popularity is way outdated. An 85 is just plain ridiculous. This finish creates complexity I have never tasted before. It is rich and layered. I didn’t want to like this whiskey, believing it was just hype. It’s not. It was really enjoyable, but in all the right ways a modern whiskey wants to be.

Incredible. It is like breakfast in a bottle. A lot of maple/caramel notes. Makes a great cocktail.
