I sipped this one over ice and thought it was fine. The funk is there but not overpowering. I tasted a lot of banana.

Did they also change the recipe? Smell of sugar cane moonshine and a sharp unrefined taste.

I don’t understand the hate on this rum. This is not a sipping rum. Add this to your Mai Tai/Zombie/or even a daiquiri (not blended) for a funky cocktail, and it is amazing. It has that hogo funk, caramel sweetness, and bit of alcohol burn, which works wonders in a cocktail. A beautiful rum that is amazing for what it is intended for
