"This rum is fairly alcoholic tasting and a bit hot, with some chocolatey, coffee and fruity (mostly banana and coconut) flavors trying to punch their way to the surface. Herbal and tart notes of sage, rosemary and lime zest come through with syrupy sugar flavors. It's not meant to be a neat sipper anyway, but it could certainly hold its own in a mixed cocktail or rum and Coke. "
