OK... I'm continuing to step into the Islay scotches. Smells like you're walking up to a camp site with their fire in the distance. I do get berries and other fruit notes in the Aroma. Some medicinal notes out of the shoot then Maple bacon.
Menthol, salty (briny) and moments of mint at the finish. Medicinal notes on the finish again.

Have to take my score down a bit more for this second tasting.Young and not feeling it here. Why would I buy this young new make when I can buy Ardbeg 10 for the same price that blows this away by a large margin? I'm just hoping this lower quality product isn't in place to replace the 10 year old. That would be a tragedy against mankind!I fear that Ardbeg is coming out with this product to stop production or increase the price of Ardbeg 10. To my palate this is a young poor quality product. Maybe @ $25 would be OK. Buy again? = No way!
