On the nose it comes across with a lot of heat with an underlying sweetness. Not sure if the heat is the proof, rye, or baking spice. The sweetness is might be from honey, vanilla, or something else. On the palate you get a much different profile. The sweetness is still there but have a more of a berry note with the honey. The heat that is there on the nose really toned down.
