Bardstown Bourbon Co. Origin Series Bourbon

From my Orgin Series Tasting Box Nose: Is sourdough,spicy brown sugar, I do get that chocolate powder that I see in other reviews. 1st sip: It has pressence, loads of vanilla, then white chocolate and red pepper 2nd sip: I get a serious spicy char and molasses note on the finish with a little nore of that chocolate powder With water: brought out wood notes, vanilla and oak As far as bourbon goes this is pretty solid.

Great bottle for the price if you can find it. I knocked this one out in 3 hours with some in-laws on Christmas. Would 100% do it again

Finished the bottle before I got to legitimately reviewing this 😅 If I am being honest, this bourbon is not completely outstanding - but thats what makes it great. Not highly complex, but has that iconic “bourbon” taste of sweet vanilla and caramel. At a price point of about $55, this is a fantastic daily sipper. Both this and the black(?) label Origin expression from Bardstown are amazing bang-for-your-buck bottles. Don’t expect this to be life changing, but do expect to be completely satisfied everytime you reach for this bottle.
