Reviewed April 21, 2023 (edited July 16, 2023)A dry, ripe pear nose with a hearty eau-de-vie character. Initially, somewhat sweet and liqueur-like in mouthfeel, the pear essence comes through loud and clear, while the substantial Cognac flavor carries the load. A lovely surprise is the vanilla bean coming through at the finish and leaving a warm, creamy dessert flavor on the tongue. This is a fine liqueur to end a meal with. Try pairing with crème brûlée, brie, or alongside a pear tart. -

Reviewed December 21, 2018 (edited November 3, 2020)For those familiar with Grand Marnier this is the pear equivalent. The essence of Williams pears infused with Brillet cognac. They use roughly 20 pounds of pears per 750ml bottle. One memorable pour involved my wife making pear crisp with some vanilla ice cream and a snifter of Belle de Brillet. So tasty!
