Benriach The Smoky Twelve

Love these complex bottles. Initially on the nose lots of citrus, vanilla, honey, and faint smoke. Taste was a roller coaster of honey, orange, chocolate, butterscotch, smoke that came and went then returned on the finish. Tried to get the same result on the second sip but couldn’t replicate it. But it is delicious.

A bit peaty for me. Fairly smooth on the aftertaste. Lots of smokeyness

Nice almost bbq notes in there followed by some lovely citrus notes. Nothing mind blowing, but a lovely peaty scotch nevertheless
