super smooth fun, light drink, amazing value!
got 16 bucks and want a fun easy-drinking spirit to enjoy alone r with friends, can't think of too many better choices than this. it is VERY easy to drink but has a decent n distinct taste to it. tho a light refreshing, enjoy one.
Better than expected. Bring it to a party as a sipper, let people taste and be surprised how good it is because it's so much better than regular Black Velvet, don't feel bad about leaving I behind if you drank more of it than you expected.
This is basically ethanol with caramel. True, it s a budget choice; but honestly, for the same amount of money, you can get a bottle of Jim Beam or some other cheap bourbon. Which is, sadly, a superior option.

Black Velvet Reserve, aged 8 years. 80 proof, sharp aroma, smells mostly of that odd Canadian sweetness, slightly off putting. This one might be bottled in Canada unlike the standard black velvet. It was priced only 4 bucks more than the standard BV as well. It was 13.99 for a 750 ml. It has a similar taste to regular BV, maybe a little less rye/sweet up front, yet still on the sweet side but not over doing it and you get the white oak or used oak on the back end. Taste better than it smells. Super smooth like water. A touch better than regular Black Velvet. Grade: C
Vanilla, toffee or honey, peppery spice, maybe some herbal bitterness in there. Not amazingly complex, but fairly easy drankin' and kinda smooth. Exceeded expectations for sure. $23.99 on sale (+ tax) per 1.75 liter in PA.
