Reviewed June 10, 2023It's fine, but not quite what i was expecting. Has a nice quinine presence but is overwhelmingly red vermouth-y with a slight almost balsamic presence. I was expecting something lighter and fruitier (like Cocchi Americano, which I much prefer). -

Reviewed October 25, 2022A more refreshing and relaxed amaro/apéritif than some of its gentiane brethren. It’s lighter and best consumed cold. It mixes really well with soda water as well as in any cocktail calling for a slightly sweeter, gentler amaro. -

Reviewed December 11, 2020 (edited January 23, 2023)Really good stuff. Made from partially fermented grape juice, fortified and infused with local herbs. Currants, flowers, sweet spices and dried citrus peel with a nice touch of sweetness balanced by fantastic acidity. Makes it a lively and well balanced Aperitif. Could be great in cocktails that need a gentler and fresher Amaro. -

Reviewed March 1, 2019 (edited January 23, 2023)French aperitif. Bitter from cinchona/quinine and gentian. Fortified red wine base, and herbal. Good in cocktails calling for a lighter hand than sweeter and more biter amari.
