The Penderyn Distillery opened in 2000 as a whisky distillery. While waiting for its whisky stock to mature, the distillery decided to produce other spirits with quicker turnover. One of these spirits was Brecon Gin, which now serves as the base for a range of flavored gins released in 2019, including their Brecon Rose Petal Gin.

Tasting Notes
"Floral and candied, more in the lavender and violet range. Hints of bubblegum too, followed by strawberries and a hit of juniper. The palate is somewhat plastic-y and bitter, but otherwise displays notes of citrus and a whiff of cinnamon."
