Buffalo Trace Kosher Wheat Recipe Straight Bourbon (2020 Release)

nose : grainy, salted roast nuts , butter , spices , very satisfying . Palate : thicker , fuller , dark chocolate , nuts , sweeter , good amount of heat ,medium to long finish and heat lingers for a while at back palate . Overall : far better than weller special reserve and as good as weller 12 specially extra 4 proof does magic . It sits way above weller special reserve and even better than weller 12 for me ( again extra 4 proof makes great difference ). Wheated bourbon lovers should seek out for this bottle. I’m gonna get 1 or 2 more bottles for reserve .

Soft, mild fruit nose. Soft carries through with hints of vanilla and new oak. Hint of spice at the end.

Nose is pretty plain. Very sweet. Palate upfront is bland. Leads into a sweet and wheat forward body. Lingers briefly with rye spice. Falls flat. I recall WSR being better than this
