Bulleit 10 Year Bourbon

Honey, oak, late burn

Nose: Cherry Coca-Cola and soft caramel candy Palette: Cherry and lots of oak Finish: Very rounded for a 10 year old bourbon. Finished dry with a slightly bitter oakiness.

This is definitely better than the original, but I expected more from the 10 year. It doesn't add much with the extra age. I'm glad I didn't buy a bottle and just got a sample. Still quite drinkable. Nose: Rye, cinnamon, baking spices, caramel, baked apple Palate: Rye, cinnamon, baking spices, caramel, baked apple, citrus Finish: Longer than the regular Bulleit, but still relatively short with a bitter oak that lingers Mouthfeel: Slightly more oil, but not what I would call mouth coating

Nose: "mature", complex, oak Palate: subtle, Sweet, oaky Finish: spicy, smooth, oaky

Peppery on the nose. Was a neck pour at a restaurant. Cinnamon on the first taste, good finish. Picked up maple on the nose after the first taste.

Apricot marmalade on the nose with a hint of cinnamon and cloves. The palate is all bourbon spice with a creamy mouthfeel. The finish is peppery and has a bit of chili heat.

I get a big hit of citrus and caramel with vanilla and a slight bit of butterscotch. Very nice
