"Sweet cane and spice are the first noticeable flavors, followed closely by roasted woody tones, rising through with tart rind. Vanilla makes an obligatory appearance, seemingly distant and wishing it were elsewhere. Easy oils makes for a somewhat plain rum. Harsh acetone hits the palate with the wood souring, wicked minerals dropping the ball on what was an alright show. The vanilla recalls its job and hastens in to sooth and calm the now burnt and shaken taste buds. The finish is tart and filled with sour wood, acetone streaking through with a medium length. "
