Bunnahabhain 12 Year

Almost a burnt chocolate nose with some hints of nuts. Not peaty, but it is oily. Good finish. A solid dram

I will add my voice to the chorus singing the praises of this whiskey! Nutty, chocolate, malt, dried dark fruit notes tantalize the nose and continue on the velvety palate. A small bitter, metallic note on the medium length finish detracts from this otherwise excellent whiskey.

Nose is sweet caramel and quite enticing Palate is spicy charred wood with some orange apice? Finish has that famous peat but very light. A little drying. Never been a fan of this dram but it’s grown on me as it’s quite complex
