Reviewed October 24, 2024Wow, 30 year Bunna! What an experience! The years in the barrel brought out a sulfur note that reminded me immediately of a volcano for some reason. The nose was pretty subdued, but it was so oily and mouth coating! Taste wise, i prefer the rest of the Bunna line, especially the 18. But this was definitely a unique and special experience. -

Reviewed June 1, 2021Nose: Floral, peach, pepper, leather, hint of smoke. Palate: Smooth, apricot, honey, spice; fruitcake. Finish: Long and smooth finish; honey and figs; hint of smoke and leather. Water opens up the apricot more and brings in more sweetness. -

Reviewed December 25, 2020 (edited April 23, 2021)Ok Folks!!! Looks like im the first to judge this here. NOSE: Salty, Waxy, delicate seaweed, apples, cookies and cream, butterscotch, i would say something like the Bunna 12 with a dusty, salty combo. MOUTH: the texture is miles ahead of the 25 wowww!!! Oak, ginger, dried strawberries, some background sherry. FINAL: longgggg, i wouldnt expect this but its drying quickly, spices are growing quickly and staying a while. -Wonderful edition but pricewise the 25 is ahead. More typical Bunna spices pumch on this one
